Impressions Beyond the Facts:
At the Start: cola, violets and lavender
In the Sip: Black cherry and cola, root beer, blueberries, strawberries with maybe a hint of licorice. Kind of a really interesting, earthy, morel mushroom note in the background. Amazingly, some peach in the front.
At the Finish: Firm, grippy tannins that just hold on forever.
On the Plate: Served with pan-seared sirloin steaks and red wine pan sauce (no, I didn’t use the Nadia for the sauce) and Caesar salad.
The Wrap: Decant this sucker and wait a while, you’ll be rewarded for your patience.
The Rating: 9 Corks!
